By means of its award-winning quarterly IFAR Journal, which replaced its newsletter IFARreports in 1998, IFAR keeps a broad public and membership base in 19 countries informed of relevant issues in the art world. The Journal provides a lively forum for discussion and features art and legal articles, book reviews, and newsbriefs on topics related to IFAR's areas of interest. A key section is the "Stolen Art Alert (TM)," which IFAR has published since 1977. The Alert highlights works of art stolen from around the world and registered with the Art Loss Register and Interpol via Scotland Yard, local police, insurance companies, museums, galleries, and private individuals. A complete index to back issues of IFAR Journal as well as IFARreports, is available on IFAR’s website at www.ifar.org. For more information or to subscribe to IFAR Journal, please visit IFAR's Website.
